The pride of Finland: A quick behind the scenes look!

Some pictures of my father and I making mock versions of the escort cards.

Those are Fiskar scissors. They are made of metal forged by the gods, with precision blades so sharp they have lasted most of my life time.

Fiskar is a Finnish company that was founded by Peter Thorwöste in 1649. Originally commissioned as a blast furnace and forging operation the original name for that area at the time was Fiskars Bruk. If you are interested read more here.

That table was made by Grandpa Arthur. He wasn't exactly my grandfather, but he was close enough I suppose. He was quite a woodworker. I have recently acquired some vintage pieces of the Grandpa Artur collection.

During the flurry of paper, staples and scissors, I snapped this other picture of me and my dad doing some organizing. We took the mock escort cards and put them into piles. Then we counted, stapled, numbered and labeled those piles. Organization at its zenith.

I sincerely apologize to anyone that thought that the limousine driver for Tara's batcholoertte party was actor De'voreaux White.

That is why everything in this article is as factual as I have been lead to believe.
